What Is Cognitive Rehabilitation Therapy? Cognitive Rehabilitation Therapy (CRT) is the process of relearning cognitive skills (such as thinking, reasoning, and remembering) that have been lost or altered as a result of damage to brain cells and chemistry. If skills cannot be relearned, you do have the capacity to learn new ones to compensate for lost cognitive function.
Is Cognitive Rehabilitation Therapy Right for You? Individuals who have persistent symptoms and functional issues are best suited for cognitive rehab. Are you having difficulty with any of the following?
